Heart to Home Mobile Vet focuses on the personalized needs of each pet in the low-stress environment of their own home. We provide a wide variety of services, including wellness care, labwork, acupuncture, palliative and end-of-life care.

Sara Virgil, DVM, CVA
Dr. Virgil has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian since 2014 after graduating from NC State. She has always strived to provide compassionate, high-quality and personalized care to her patients. She opened Heart to Home Mobile Vet with this goal. Coming to pets’ homes also decreases the stress of travel and the vet clinic.
She has pursued additional training in Small Animal Acupuncture from Chi University. Acupuncture can can safely address many ailments, ranging from arthritis to gastrointestinal and respiratory conditions.
Dr. Virgil lives in Cary with her husband, two children, senior dog, two cats, and a growing flock of chickens. She enjoys playing recreational soccer, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and rewatching episodes of “The Office” on repeat!
